One of the main revolutions in the automotive industry is the transformation from metal to thermoplastic tailgates. This saves a lot of weight but also adds to the design freedom of these large components.
We are glad we could support some OEM’s, system suppliers, but also material suppliers in the development of these components.
Over the last years we have produced multiple injection moulding tools for these complex parts!
Some for full plastic parts, others for hybrid solutions.
With the (prototype) parts produced at Kupron our customers were able to test and validate their newly developed parts.
